Middle Tennessee State squeaked their way to a 6-6 record, earning a bid and an invitation to the Bahamas Bowl.
The Toledo Rockets head down to Paradise with a 7-5 record and a 5-3 record in the Mac West Division.

Despite a faction of disgruntled fans, overall, the football program, players and coaches included, are amped to participate in the Bahamas Bowl. When it boils down to it, it really is about the guys inside the program, right?
I honestly think that MT really wants to be there and will make it show with their play on the field. If you look at all the stats and the scores, Toledo is the better team. I just have a hunch that the boys in Blue will be ready to play in this one. Which signal caller gets the green light at QB, I don't know. Regardless, whoever is QB will be relied on to be a game manager.
Bryant Koback is the bell cow tailback for Toledo and look for the Rockets to give him the rock early and often.

The Blue Raiders are no strangers to the Bahamas Bowl. They were in this bowl six years ago. Standing in their way is Toledo.The Rockets come into this matchup on a three-game winning streak. The key in this matchup will be can the Blue Raiders find a way to stop Junior Running Back Bryant Koback, the first-team all-MAC who ranked second in the Mid-American Conference in rushing yards, first in the MAC in yards per carry and tied-first in the MAC in rushing touchdowns.
MT's defense showed much improvement from a year ago; however Koback will prove to be too much for the Blue Raiders to handle.
