Commit Conversation: Devin Riles

It is time once again for another commitment conversation! This time GoMiddle Publisher Matt Dossett spoke with QB commit Devin Riles.

Riles mentioned to Dossett that his senior season is going smooth and that his team is still alive in the playoffs.

"Senior year is going great," he said. "We are in the final four right now and looking to advance to the championship game, and the fact that we are still playing is the best expectation for me," Riles said.

When asked if other schools are pursuing him, Riles responded, "As of now, not really."

He went on to mention that his signing date is not yet completely solidified, but he does intend to enroll after he graduates with his classmates in the month of May.

"I’m looking to sign with all my teammates, so i’m not sure if it will be early or in February. And, I will be enrolling after I graduate in May as of now," Riles said.

Devin went on to mention that a visit to MT in December is on the docket, but a wrench could be thrown in those plans if his team is still alive in the state playoffs.

"The date for me to come to MTSU for my official is the weekend of December 10 through 12, but if me and my teammates are playing in the championship game I will have to move that date."

When asked to describe his game, Riles elaborated, saying: "My game is kind of wide open to me because of my ability to throw the ball good and also to be able to run. What I want to improve on mostly is pocket presence."
