There are many schools that have beaten the Blue Raiders the punch when it came to offering Herbert.

Herbert currently possesses double-digit offers.

Five days prior to garnering the MT offer, Herbert was offered by the Tulane Green Wave.

A week before the Green Wave offer extension, Herbert was offered by the Yale Bulldogs.

February was a big month, as it pertained to getting offers. In the month of February, he was offered by: Eastern Michigan, Liberty, Georgia State, James Madison, Coastal Carolina, Troy, and Appalachian State.

He also boats offers from: UNC Charlotte and Eastern Kentucky.

Upon talking to Herbert, he divulged what position he expects to play at the collegiate level.

"In college I want to play outside linebacker or edge," he said.

"I have a passionate love for coming off and setting the edge."

Herbert chimed in that there is one person spearheading his recruitment.

"Coach Royston is recruiting me," he said.

"I am an international player from Munich, Germany," he said. "I think it is pretty cool that he often went to Munich and kinda knows where I am from. He also seems like a person that had a lot of experiences full of personality."

Herbert says that Sun Belt Conference teams are recruiting him the hardest and that Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina are certainly two of those teams that stick out

He said that he is currently in the process of planning visits.

"I am currently planning my schedule on what schools I will visit this summer," he said.

"I will also try to take some official visits over this summer. For now I know that I’ll be visiting UCF, Florida Gators, Kennesaw, Mercer, South Bama, Troy, Clemson, Georgia Tech, UGA and Auburn. I am still planning it can change."

Herbert walks the walk off the gridiron.

"In my high school I am part of a group named sources of strength," he said. "So if anyone has a problem or needs to talk to someone they come see me or someone in our sources of strength group."
