Middle Tennessee (9-3, 7-1 Sun Belt Conference) won nine games for the first time since 1992 and joins the 2003 North Texas squad and this year's Troy team as the only conference teams to win nine games in a season.
Dasher's passing touchdowns of 6 and 18 yards tied Mickey Corwin's single-season mark of 21 set in 1984. Dasher's 88 yards rushing made him the school's career leader for rushing yards by a quarterback with 1,676. He scored on runs of 2 and 9 yards.
The Blue Raiders intercepted three passes, returning one 58 yards for a score, and had four sacks to set a single-season school record with 38.
Luther Ambrose caught seven passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns for the Warhawks (6-6, 5-3).
