Middle Tennessee's 2017 recruiting class just keeps growing and growing.

Hot off the heels of a successful week that saw them land Cain McWilliams and Brad Anderson, the Blue Raider coaches got another surprise Tuesday morning when Trinity Christian (FL) OLB Brian Roberts made the call and committed.

Roberts took to Twitter to make his announcement official.

A formal Central Michigan commit, Robert reopened his recruitment in July and put the Blue Raiders among a group of four favorites that included FIU, Tulane and Toledo.

Aside from those four, the two-star LB also held offers from Charlotte, Appalachian State, Troy and a slew of FCS programs. He was also fielding heavy interest from Iowa State and Minnesota recently.

At the time of his decommitment, Roberts cited that he thought he had pledged a bit too early in the recruiting process and that he wanted to feel things out a bit more and enjoy something that only comes around once.

Fast forward eight weeks or so, and Roberts is now all in with Middle Tennessee.

In Roberts, the Blue Raider land a proven winner. Trinity Christian is coming off of their third straight Florida 3A state championship after capping off an undefeated 2015 season in impressive fashion - becoming the first Jacksonville area program to capture three straight state titles in the process.

Roberts has gone on record recently stating that whatever school he chose next would be his final decision as he has plans to enroll early and get the ball rolling on his college career.

For Blue Raider fans, that should be music to their ears.
