Major, a 6-foot, 195-pound junior, started 16 games the past two seasons. He led the Boilermakers with three interceptions in 2018 and he totaled 79 tackles in his two years in West Lafayette.

Major was rated a two star prospect coming out of Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He had offers from Purdue, SE Missouri State, Tennessee-Martin and Western Kentucky.

Major was originally committed to Western Kentucky, but followed Jeff Brohm to Purdue before signing day in 2017.

Per one report by NBC Sports, Major intends to be a graduate transfer, meaning he could be eligible immediately for the Blue Raiders this fall.
