MT Women to Play in Gulf Coast Showcase
The bracket for the women's hoops Gulf Coast Showcase has been set in stone. The tournament will take place from November 29 to December 1. It will take place in Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida. The Hertz Arena capacity is 8,284.
The field consists of:
-Middle Tennessee State
-Auburn
-Gonzaga
-Dayton
-Arizona State
-Maine
-Drake
-Purdue
Middle Tennessee State's side of the bracket consists of them along with: Auburn, Gonzaga and Dayton. On the other side is Arizona State, Maine, Drake and Purdue. The winner of the MT/Auburn game will square off with the winner of the Gonzaga and Dayton contest. The loser of the MT/Auburn game will enter the losers bracket and will face the loser of Gonzaga and Dayton.
On the other end, Arizona State will play Maine and Drake will face Purdue. The winner of Arizona State/Maine will play the winner of Drake/Purdue. The losers will play each other.
