When you identify highly talented prospects, you start recruiting them early and often.

For Middle Tennessee coaches, recruiting for 2021 is now in full swing as Stephenson High (GA) teammates Safety Dorian Helm and Cornerback/Wide Receiver Kamar Wilcoxson each received offers from Middle Tennessee.

Standing at 5'10 160 lbs. from Stone Mountain, Ga., the offer from MT was the first for Helm, who took to Twitter to show his appreciation shortly after.

On the other hand, Wilcoxson, has been sought after by many programs early in his recruitment process

Besides the offer from the Blue Raiders, he holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and handful of others. To date, he holds steady at 17 total offers. Wilcoxson was once a Florida Gator commit as well, but took a step back to re-evaluate things.

The Blue Raiders have had a lot of success of recruiting players from the state of Georgia, including Titans all-Pro safety Kevin Byard. With another talented crop of safeties in their backfield currently with next level aspirations, perhaps the Blue Raider coaching staff can use that as fuel to keep landing highly talented players to add back in the mix.
