The Blue Raiders were not the only suitor vying for Fussell's services. He holds a barrage of offers from programs all over.

His most recent announced offers were done in the month of July. Fussell gained a trio of offers in early July.

Fussell announced his offers from Charlotte and Elon on July 2. One day before that, he announced his offer from St. Louis.

Let's backpedal a tad to June. Fussell's June offers were from the likes of: Samford, Tulane, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Kent State, Southern Illinois, Northeastern, Jacksonville State, ETSU, MTSU, UNCG and VCU.

Believe it or not, there are even more June offers. Those other June offers were from: UNC Asheville, Tennessee State, JMU and Indiana State.

Fussell's May offers were from: SC Upstate, Presbyterian and FGCU.

His April offers were from Kennesaw State, Appalachian State and Stetson.

Fussell's very first offer came from College of Charleston.

On August 2, Fussell whittled his list of top schools down to five. Those schools were: MTSU, VCU, Dayton, Charlotte and FGCU.

Going into the home stretch of Fussell's recruitment, it came down to Dayton, VCU and Middle Tennessee State.

The Blue Raider staff went all in, targeting Fussell to be one of the pillars for the 2020 class. Ultimately, hard work paid off and they got their guy.

All things considered, this is a monster pickup for Middle Tennessee State. Fire up the film and you see why he is so coveted. Fussell has size, sure, but he's not just a big body. He has a fine tuned game with a quality skillset.

He can do his damage inside offensively, but he can step out and drill jump shots as well. Defensively he can be a menage, blocking shots left and right.

This pickup for MTSU certainly gets the ball rolling for the class of 2020.
