Matt broke down the tough loss to Army last Saturday:

Middle Tennessee State was skunked Saturday afternoon by the Army Black Knights. They were throttled by 42 against Army. There is no skating around it, the Blue Raiders simply got boat raced and annihilated.

Here are Matt Dossett's thoughts on the game.

MT got a big commitment in QB Nick Vattiato, GoMiddle provided a ton of coverage:

We discussed his commitment on the message board as well:

Speaking of the board, join now to make your prediction on the Week 2 college football/Conference USA schedule:

And lastly, we're going to keep tabs on the "State of the Program" as determined by the fanbase each week. The President of the United States gets an approval rating, so why not MT officials?

Each week, I'm going to ask the members of our message board how they would rate the job done by (fill in the blank) on a 0-10 scale.

Here are the Week 1 - post Army results:

AD Chris Massaro: 0.667 / 10

HC Rick Stockstill: 0.444 / 10

OC Tony Franklin: 1.333 / 10

DC Scott Schafer: 2.56 / 10

Lastly, a reminder to hug your loved ones and remember the loss so many of our fellow Americans felt on this day 19 years ago. Life is short. Football games come and go. Take a second to reflect on what's important.
