Matt continued his Signee Spotlight series, catching up with baseball signees Jaden Hamm and Bryce Symlar:

It is time once again for another baseball signee spotlight. Our first edition concentrated on Tyson Mickie. Now it is time to turn the page to Jaden Hamm.

Hamm committed to MTSU in June of 2019.

It is now time for the third MTSU baseball signee spotlight. This time we pivot to Bryce Symlar. Symlar was a teammate of Jaden Hamm, who was the last subject of the baseball signee spotlight. Both guys are headed to Murfreesboro.

Symlar pledged to the Blue Raiders all the way back in February of 2019.

MTSU basketball got big news this week as it was announced Northwestern big-man Jared Jones is transferring to the Blue Raiders. Matt broke it down:

It is clear that the MT staff is targeting skill as well as length. Fussell hovers around the 6'10 mark, King is around 6'8, and now you throw Jones into the fray, who is around 6'10 also.

Jones participated and played in 31 games during the 2019-2020 campaign at Northwestern. He averaged a smidgen over 10 minutes a game, to go with 2.9 points-per-game, 2.1 rebounds-per-game, and 44.8 percent when it came to converting field goals.
