Arizona Transfer OL Jamari Williams Commits to Middle Tennessee

Middle Tennessee has picked up a commitment from Arizona transfer offensive lineman Jamari Williams. Williams, 6'3', 290 pounds, chose Arizona over offers from Boston College, FIU, Kentucky, Louisville and a handful of other Power 5 programs.

Per the University of Arizona website, Williams redshirted in 2019 and did not play in 2020.

High School: Earned varsity letters at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., under coach Matt Dubuc…Helped lead Chiefs to the 2018 Class 5A State Championship – the first for the school…A two-time First Team All-State honoree…Also earned two First Team All-Country accolades…Also played basketball.

Personal: Son of John Williams…Has one sister, Jakaria…Member of high school honor roll...Majoring in Pre-Business.
