Meet the New Boys in Blue - William Eads

GoMiddle.com caught up with William Eads, the former long snapper for the prestigous Hoover HS in Alabama. Here's what he told us...

Q: Why did you choose to play for Middle Tennessee?

A: "I loved the atmosphere, the coaching staff and I just felt at home in Murfreesboro and I also love the relationship that all the players have with each other."

Q: Who was your main recruiter during your recruitment? What did you like about them?

A: "Coach Justin Watts recruited me, I loved that if he told me he was going to be calling me at a certain time, he did and other schools weren't as honest."

Q: What do you plan on majoring in at MT?

A: "I plan on majoring in mathematics with a minor in education, I want to be a high school football coach when I finish playing."

Q: If you weren't playing football, what sport would you play?

A: "Probably baseball, I played that until my sophomore year."

Q: What is the most important position on the field in your opinion?

A: "Offensive Line - without them there is no running or passing game."

Q: What is the hardest hit you have given or taken?

A: "My sophomore year on scout team I was playing tight end and John Propst, MLB at Tennessee, got a real good shot on me coming across the middle."

Q: What kind of coaching style do you enjoy more - a player's coach, or a disciplinary coach?

A: "A mix, someone who is going to push you on the field but also someone who you can talk to as a friend."

Q: Who do you mimic your game after?

A: "Christian Yount, LS for the Cleveland Browns."

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: "Forrest Gump."

Q: Who is your favorite musician/band?

A: "Justin Moore and Billy Currington."

Q: What song/music do you listen to before a game?

A: "Country."

Q: Xbox or PS3?

A: "Xbox."

Q: Madden or NCAA?

A: "NCAA."

Q: If you could go out to dinner with any athlete in the world - who would it be and why? What would you ask them?

A: "Tim Tebow, I would like to talk to him about how to, as a Christian athlete, be strong in what you believe while being in college and being tempted with so many things."
