What's at stake: MT can reach bowl eligibility for the first time since 2006 with a win over FIU and can improve to 6-3 overall and 4-1 inside the conference. FIU has to win out to reach bowl eligibilty, but that is little more than a pipe dream at this point because the Golden Panthers still have a road game at Florida left on their schedule. FIU still has aspirations of finishing in the upper half of the league race and can improve to 3-3 in the conference with a road win.

THE COACHES
	Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill is in his fourth season with the Blue Raiders and this will be his fourth matchup against FIU. He is 2-1 against the Golden Panthers and 2-0 against them in Murfreesboro. Stockstill is 16-9 in Sun Belt games during his tenure. FIU head coach Mario Cristobal is in his third season as FIU head coach and holds an 8-24 overall record. His background is as an offensive line coach. Cristobal served in that capacity for Rutgers (2001-2003) and Miami (2004-2006) prior to accepting the head coaching post at FIU.
