  • What's at stake: With a win, MT will improve to 2-0 at home this season and record its third non-conference win of the year over an FBS opponent, which would be a first in Sun Belt history. A Blue Raider win would be the program's sixth over a Big Six conference foe this decade. Mississippi State must win this game to be able to realistically hold on to any kind of bowl possibilities.

    THE COACHES

Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen is in his first season at MSU and holds a 2-4 record to this point. Mullen's background includes a lot of winning.
